Anyone got any tips for trying to learn how to ski when you are so hungover and tired that you can barely walk?

Hi,

Well I don't think there is much you can do about that except skip out the Apres-Skiing!

I don't think Apres-Skiing could be skipped out! It's one of the highlights of the trip!

Agreed!

Just breathe in some of the fresh mountain air, see how that cures your hangover.

Just found a good guide here;

May be of some use to you.

Oxygen

Popular wisdom dictates a brisk walk in fresh mountain air to dispel those post-binge blues, but the problem is that when you really need it, the last thing you're capable of doing is getting up off the floor, let alone going out into the outside world. The theory is that the increased oxygen flow improves the metabolic rate, and thus increases the speed at which the poisons are broken down. Be that as it may, SCUBA divers have long known that a blast from the tank first thing in the morning does wonders in blowing away the fog.

Apres.. which is French means "after"..

It is basically what you do after you go skiing, mostly associated with drinking large ammounts of alcohol!

Do they not call it Apres-Ski in the states?

Oh, that makes sense now.

No, I have never heard of it called Apres-Ski. I dont think there really is a formal name for it.
