I recently picked up a pair of Line Prophet 100's (172cm) in anticipation for next season! I am torn with what binding to put on. Currently, I am using Salomon Impact 8 boots, and was thinking about putting on Diamir Freeride Plus bindings. My thought is, for the amount that I will use the heel release feature, is it a wise investment?

The investment aside....is the combination of the Line Prophet 100's, Diamir Freeride Plus and Salomon Impact 8 a good combination, or are the three going to work against each other?

Some insight is appreciated,
