Default Old snow dog needs equipment advice.

I REALLY miss skiing.

6 years ago I busted my bindings right out of my left K2, and went shopping for a new set. Unfortunately, all I could find were 'new school' fat parabolic format... fair enough, thought I'd give it a try.... well, I hated it. I still hate it. It's just not a new trick this old dog likes much.

I've been doing a lot of snowboarding since, but its still not the same. I'm missing carving long, graceful Stein turns knee deep in powder from the top of Alberville, completely lost in the l'esprit de glecé as I work the shifting A-frame posture in flowing zen down the mountain.

Seriously, there has GOT to be a decent pair of old-school skis still made by SOMEONE? Something nice and narrow without much shape – good flex and stiff torsion – a nice dh or sg race ski maybe.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks.
