Have any of you ever given this ago? To be honest I'm not sure it would appeal to we, but I'd be willing to give it a try once or twice.
Where are the best dunes? What do you think of skiing on sand?

I remember some kids doing sand skiing up when I lived in Dubai. Fun to watch, too scary to try :D

I think i'd give it a whirl. Something in me says it would be pretty crazily fun. I don't think it would be too hot. You can always add sand to a place.;)

Ive seen some movies from this kinda skiing... looks like fun, allthought I prefere snow under my feet :)
But it would be amazingly cool to try it out...

haven't tryed it...and i can't imagine wearing shorts and t-shirt while skiing.

That's the only weird thing I would find about skiing in snow is the different types of clothes you wear instead. But I'd have crazy fun with it. I'd probably bring some other stuff like a skateboard without the trucks or wheels to act kinda like a snowboard in a way but your not attached. I did this down a gravel slide which was a huge rush but if you fell, you'd get really scratched up.

I've seen it on TV in adverts and things and it looks quite fun, you can get sunburnt very easily, depends how hot it is. When you fall over it can be quite painfull if your going fast.

I never thought about falling actually. That must really hurt, and would burn any exposed skin...
Still may be worth a try just for the experience.

sounds like pain just waiting to happen. I have seen some guys on jetskies after sandbuggys on Tv.. that looked fun. but painfull if you fall

Yeah super painful. I havent tried it nor will I ever. It seems like its real dangerous and I dont feel like traveling just to go sand skiing. Ugh, and the creatures that lurk under that sand too.. DONT get me started.
