Hi, I found this forum on facebook and though it's about time i start finding people with the same passion for snow as me. I'm a skier, and have mainly been to european resorts, went to canada once and am planning to go again. I've tried snowboarding, it was my first choice, but i just couldn't do it, so i switched to skiing and been doing that ever since. the slope is for everyone so i hold no grudges against boarders or anyone that isn't a skier (what's the point, we're all there for the same reason).

can't wait for me next ski trip coming net year feb.

Hi there! Let me guess - it's raining in London, right? ;)

Which is your favourite resort, or perhaps just country if you can't pick a specific resort, in Europe?

well actually it is, or was, raining today, might start back raining in a few mins :P
as for my favourite resort in europe, i've mainly been to switzerland resorts (torgon, evolene, arosa, nendaz-verbier, crans montana). arosa was at the time the best trip as i had advanced alot in that one. Andorra was awesome, when it had snow, second time i went there was a not much to use. Livigno was good, going back in feb. Levi was cold and dark, but not bad.
Hmmm, i'd had to say that andorra was my favourite, it was a the only trip i've been solely on my own (traveled, stayed, skied etc) but the snow was awesome, the skiing was awesome and the resort of soldeu was awesome (right in the middle of two other resorts that you can ski across).
as for my favourite trip to date, that would have to be when i went to canada's sunshine village for 2 weeks. the apres wasn't that great but the snow, runs, lifts location of the hotel, all totally ruled. i hope whistler-blackcomb is as good if not better.
