Hi
I live in a pretty village in the French Alps, the Courchevel valley to be precise.
Well someone has to!

We have quite a big expat community here though I also like to socialize with the locals, who are very welcoming.

Have skied the three valley area for the past 14 years (with other places interspersed!) though onl lived her for 14 months.

The chalet I live in is also our home and business (catered ski holidays) we are also really hoping to build up our summer trade, as its low season here its makes a fantastic value for money holiday and there is so much to do in the summer here!

This summer I did Hydro speed which briefly explained as white water rafting without the boat!! It made rafting seem tame!!

Would love to hear from anyone living near here or anyone thinking of moving here or taking a holiday here...phew think that covers everyone!

P.S had the first snows over the weekend...not much but it gets the juices flowing and everyone talking of the coming season.

Hi. Sounds like a great life over there.

The first snow always sets of a buzz.

Hi!

I am hoping to be in Paradiski Area this winter if accommodation comes off. I live in Bulgaria at the moment but folllowing relationship breakdown and lack of work (financial crisis) I want to get away, meet lots of new people and actually try and have some fun. Courchevel was first choice but struggled to find accommodation and want to bring my little dog as well.

Would love the life of living in ski resort all winter.

Do you have any expat contacts in Paradiski area?

Rachel

Hi,
I am a lone skiier looking to get away late march or early april. Do you have anything available for a single. If not, do you know of a ski buddy scheme where I can team up with people during the day?

Sounds like a great spot. How high are the mountains and how many slopes are available for skiing? I may have to check it out next year.
