I have never tried dry slope skiing myself, has anyone else? I hear it can be quite sore if you fall. If you have been, where was it and was it any good? I.e. would it be worth spending the money to do it?

I remember trying it several years ago before I had ever skiied before. It was terrible, i fell a few times and cut myself up really bad .... i wouldnt recommend it for any beginner skiier

Sounds painful, since tomC says he wouldn't recommend it, I most likely won't try it for awhile, atleast. :)

Pretty dangerous, i'm also new like Dizaster is and I'll probably stay away from doing it dry for awhile, maybe in a year or so if I get enough practice in this winter I can try it fully.

Hmm I tried it once on a snowboard but I fell on my butt. Didn't really hurt, but still, I couldn't keep my balance.

I don't recommend trying it if you have skiied before, you really won't enjoy it or see any benefit in it at all.

Ive been before - Ive been to the snowdome in Tamworth,UK.

It does hurt if you fall but it gave me a good grounding for when I went skiing first time properly.

It doesnt even compare to skiing for real though :)
