View Full Version : Ski Season 2007
Michael 13-05-06, 10:48 AM The 2006 Ski Season has come to a close. Where do you plan to go skiing next year?
I hope maybe to go to Austria or France, however I have yet to book the holiday yet. I think the best time to book the holiday is around September time.
What about everyone else?
Yes, I had a great time skiing this year and where I went I got great snow! Next year I hope to go to France, still haven't picked a particular resort! I agree that around September time is when all the ski offers are put on. I may wait until then to book my next holiday :)
ebittner 14-05-06, 07:08 AM Next year I am really going to try to make it to vermont for a weekend to do some nice sking my brother has gone and he loved it there.
I can't wait for this years ski season to start. I usually book my holiday at the end of the summer. This year I hope to go to either Italy or France.
Right now my only ski plans are to go to my uncle's cabin in North Carolina, but maybe possible head farther north into virginia and pennsalvania.

Sounds like fun, is his cabin up on the slopes?
I think it is close. I believe it might be a couple of miles away. Im not sure. I would have to ask my mom. If it is on the slopes it would be awesome. Esspecially if I could see the skiiers go down from the window, ahh bliss.
Michael 19-09-06, 03:11 PM Excellent, just found out that I'm going to La Plagne in France in February. I can't wait :)
zlathim 19-09-06, 03:25 PM Wow, ther sure are a lot of international skiers on this site. It makes my skiing ventures seem kind of boring by comparison. I live less than an hour from the mountain that I ski and I pretty much stick to that mountain even though there are several more within 2 or 3 hours of where I live.
Sounds like many people here travel from one country to another to ski. That adds a whole new dimension to the experience for sure.

wickers 01-12-06, 05:07 PM Were all off to Le grand bornand in France, normally great skiing and a traditional French village where you only hear French voices. The local mountains are the Aravis range, beautiful.

Sounds like a good place, I'm going to France too actually.
I'm jetting off to St. Anton, Austria in a few days. But looks like there is a lack of snow this year!
zlathim 07-03-07, 02:45 PM Adam- How was the St. Anton trip?
