I just wanted to let you know that if you rent make sure that they tighten your skis to your boots good because I have had my ski fall off before and it is not fun at all becasue then you have to go all of the way back and get it fixed.

Yes if they mess up the numbers on the bindings your ski's could come off quite a lot. Always make sure they ask for your weight and height etc .. as this helps them figure out what to set your bindings to.
Rental Skis have always been unlucky for me. If you get a bad pair then it pretty much ruins your whole day. I had a pair of boots that came unclipped every 30 seconds, very annoying.

I know this is an old post, but I wanted to let people know about how important proper boot fitting is, especially in the rental shop. I see kids come to lessons with boots that are so big they can't even lift their legs. Nobody can ski this way. If you are renting, make sure that your boots fit snug and are done up properly. You cannot do much skiing with boots that don't fit. If they don't fit, make them get you some that do fit. I think I had one kid that wore his running shoes inside his ski boots!!!!! He looked like one of those dummy crafts that people send down the hill off a ramp at the end of season bashes.

Funny that you mentioned that, I saw someone in a chairlift in front of me loose their ski!

You mean, its like wearing rubber shoes, you have to tighten it in order to avoid injuries??
