This is my first post here although I contribute to various other ski forums. I have been ski-ing for over twenty years, all in Europe, and have enjoyed most of my trips! Some have been better than others for ski-ing, night life, ambience, accommodation, but they have each had something that was great and some resorts had lots that was excellent.

I have given my ski level as intermediate - you might think that after 20 years I'd be an expert! No! I don't like ski-ing moguls and I can take or leave off-piste so I think it would be an insult to REAL experts to say I am anything more than a very experienced intermediate. As long as I can ski most pistes in most conditions in order to get down in one piece, I'm very happy!

my name is Todd and i have been skiing for 21 of my 25 years of life. currently i live in Berkeley CA and ski in Taho but i learned in the icy east coast at resorts like Killington and Sugar Bowl.
Now i work at a ski shop fitting boots and selling skis while attending College. I dont know how to rate myself, i leave that to my wife. all i can say is after 21 years of 4 concusions, 1 broken arm and coutless sore backs and legs i better have something to show for it.
My favorite place to ski has to be Kirkwood in lake taho, mainly because they let mother nature do most of the grooming and terrain work. One thing i can say i have picked up over the past three years of working in the ski industry is the ability to judge a ski. please if you have any questions about skis, i would be happy to give my opinion. Anyways happy sliding.
