I am relatively new to the forum but I am making an announcement. For those of you who know nothing about me I am a college student at Fort Lewis College in Durango, CO.
I am originally from Oklahoma but moved here last fall and attended school. I had a horrid GPA (2.7) becuz I spent entirely too much time hiking, biking, climbing, and yes of course skiing.

I know it sounds crazy but I have always wanted to be a really really good skier, and of course by really good skier I mean compete and hopefully go pro.

So today, I unenrolled myself from college. My parents made me promise I would go back if the skiing thing doesnt work...

I am sure it won't...but I have to know and the only way to know is to try.

If you're thinking I am crazy you are right....but to add some light to the subject I do have a good number of tricks down. Last season people tried to get me to compete and I was afraid to. After watching some competitions I began to realize the guys competeing were not throwing out anything I can't throw down. Therefore, I became a little more confident and inspired. wish me luck.

wow.. I wish you luck and hope it turns out great. I actually had the honour of meeting some great ski professionals and I can honestly say I admire their devotion.. It's a lot of hard work.

Keeping my fingers crossed and hope to see you on the TV ski competition broadcast soon

that sounds awesome, Justin! good luck, and definately keep us posted! word of advice: if at all possible, try to find a pro that knows even more tricks and get them to teach u, even if it costs a ton. it will be worth it
