What kind of music is in your playlist that you listen to pre/on/post skiing? I want to add more songs to my ipod this year, so suggestions are great. Also is their songs specifically about skiing?

ABS99 16-05-09, 05:10 AM Bob Marley to Slayer TheRadCactus 13-07-09, 12:03 AM Justice, My Morning Jacket, some Cake, and, weirdest of all, Calexico. Frank Zappa's album Hot Rats is pretty good ski music too. milliondollerbaby 29-07-09, 09:01 PM Why is Calexico weird? Because it's sorta summery south-western vibe? Justice would be good skiing music, I think. ferrethead 07-12-09, 08:51 AM a lot of drum'n'bass mainly, d&b remixes are so good - i reckon they'd be good for skiing too DECAL 10-12-09, 10:05 AM Excuse the pun but Boards of Canada is pretty good music to ski to. Ive got an Ipod touch this season so should have a few apps installed!! other than AVI anyone got any suggestions? PowderJunkie 12-02-10, 11:05 PM i don't ride to tunes. I prefer the music of nature and the sound of snow. ReconGoggles 17-03-10, 05:53 AM music bhoffo 20-08-10, 02:43 AM I just love skiing around to my 'old' music - 1970's, 80's, 90's with a few 2000's thrown in for good measure. I bought a helmet when in Canada recently and took the original ear warmers out - then installed some ear phones that were built into other ear warmers to fit that helmet (Smith brand). Great! Really comfortable and good sound! Bruce Hoffmann kosherski 21-09-10, 01:36 PM 80s Rock, Toto, Eagles, Survivor, etc. |
