We're looking for ski resorts that have gondola lifts in the western U.S.. Any help would be appreciated.

Check out Squaw Valley Calif. I know they have a gondola, it's the only one I have ridden.

why the gondola? looking to get busy in it :)
whistler in BC Canada has 3 gondola which, if you are good enough, can 'do' all 3 in one day

This year Whistler is opening a new gondola which runs between the alpine areas of both mountains. So you will be able to quickly go from skiing Whistler bowl to a run on the Blackcomb glacier.

Whistler now has one LESS gondola working this year.

Mammoth Mountain has a gondola. I'm dying to know why the gondola is the key element!

Did you mean a gondola or a tram? Most big US resorts have some sort of gondola. Trams are much rarer. I know Jackson Hole has on in the West and Cannon in the East.
