All you really got to do is just keep ballance and that's really all there is too it. Just keep center on whatever your grinding and you shouldn't have a problem.;) kabozo101 10-01-06, 09:10 PM Alright thanks for the info on it and i'll keep that in mind when i go up saturday. Jonnerz 11-01-06, 04:53 PM If you search it on google you could probably find some tips on there but if anyone has any good tips then they can post. Maybe I will try them next time if I build up enough courage to try grinding ! ebittner 14-05-06, 07:12 AM I do not have any good tips but you just have to go for it and do not pull back beacue the only wat that you will really learn is by doing. Make sure to start off by going slow. Line101 15-12-07, 02:32 AM approach the rail at a medium to moderate spped with your skis shoulder width or farther apart. try to get on the raill with your skis as flat as possible. Keep your eyes concintrated on the end of the rail. Dont try to jump off the rail that is when alot of people eat it try to just ride off it. hope that helps. danger 15-12-07, 03:53 AM the hardest part for me is landing straight, start on a box or small ride on rainbow. start with 50-50ing on things to low to hit your nuts on then move on the 90ing, and then you can get more technical SkiCatDad 16-12-07, 06:23 PM Balance is key with doing anything in skiing, whether its grinding, carving, hitting the bumps or cruising powder. Learn how to keep yourself properly centered and know how to adjust through various terrain whether powder, crud, or metal. You basically have to learn what to expect, then learn how to handle it. Good luck, and I'd think about wearing a helmet. |
