Skiing after 15 year break, tips?

Hello,
Ladies and gentlemen. I recently rediscovered skiing after a 15 year absence.
I just purchased a pair of used volkl p50 platinums with marker 1200 ti bindings and I'm going to be hitting up the local bunny hills soon. Any tips?
Everyone says it's like riding a bike...well its been a long time so im not sure how i'll handle it.
I've done a little research but I've used to ski rossi downhill skis. now, there's just so many out there I have no idea what to expect with these volkls. I've read great things but I'm not sure what to expect.
