I think it would be an excellent workout, twisting your body, using your legs, arms, pretty good.

I personally think its pretty good, once you get used to riding down slopes pretty regularly, you could make it a nice winter routine.

I suppose its good, but I personally wouldn't like it because I tend to get a cold throat and breathing starts hurting while I'm outside in the cold, probably because I'm not dressed warm enough, but still, I don't like working out with layers and layers of clothes on.

Great exercises for skiing

Hi,
Great discussion here on ski training. I am new to this site but I sure like what I see.

Training skiers for the optimal snow performance is pretty close to my heart. I have exercise routines and ski training ideas available on my website for free if anyone is interested.
I like to train hard to be able to ski hard as well. Every ski trip or vacation is an opportunity to get in shape and I like to enjoy my trips to the fullest.
Anyway, check it out and let me know what you think! http://www.trainforskivacation.com
