Colorado ski recommendations???

Newbie to this board needs some advice. We will be spending the week after Chistmas at Powderhorn, and plan to ski at that resort for several days. I know we are within driving distance from many famous ski resorts. Please give me your recommendation for a one day trip for a 55 average skier and his 15 year old daughter, who is an average snow-boarder/skier.

vail, breckenridge, arapaho basin, all within easy driving distance of one another. also, they're owned by the same company so a four-day pass would be good at all of them. have fun.

Vail, hand downs. Vail is the best in the area in almost every way. Lines can be kinda long though.

Also consider Keystone ski resort. Just 90 miles from Denver International Airport, 3,000 acres of family fun and adventure,121 ski trails served by 20 lifts including 2 gondolas.
