Newbies: Skiing or Snowboarding?

I'm a "lapsed skier", and want to get back into it. I also want my three teenage kids to get into it too.

But they are more interested in snowboarding.

Are all the runs at ski resorts open to both snowboarders and skiers? My knowledge of this is extremely poor, as I haven't been on the slopes in so long.

Any help on this matter is greatly appreciated.

Hi Alex.

You should be fine taking you kids on any runs. I have never come across a resort that restricts who can or can't use a slope.

Hope you enjoy your return to the slopes.
