Default Fractured Ribs

Hi folks just back from a holiday in waidring in Austria and im afraid to say my skiing was cut pretty short. Second day of the trip I was Skiing off piste down a pretty steep slope. When i was about halfway down my skis hit into some rock that had only a minute covering of snow and i was thrown down the hill. i was concussed and fractured 3 ribs and bruised my left leg pretty badly, had to be airlifted to the nearest hospital talk about a bad holiday.

The piste is the main bit of the slope, i.e. the bit that is bashed and compressed. Off Piste would be the opposite, you know the rest of the snow that is not marked as a route.

Ouch, well that stinks that it ruined your trip. Something similar happend to my mom while she was in switzerland, she also fractured a rib.
