End of the season
Well, Zach and I are going up today for what might be our last ski day of the season. The lifts will probably continue to run for a couple more weeks, but the snow has been pretty soft, even slushy, and very slow. Unless we get a late season cold snap, I think we will probably put our gear away for the season very soon.
It was a great season though, we skied a lot. Zach went from being on the bunny hill only to even skiing some black diamond runs! Can't complain about this season, that's for sure. Here's a look at the back side of our season passes. You get one sticker for each day you ski. Pass cost $230, day lift ticket price is $42. I think our passes paid for themselves!! ![]() |

Well, we went up yesterday. It was warm and the snow was soft/slushy. Not great conditions, but we had the place to ourselves.
We skiied a little bit too long because Zach fell asleep on the chairlift ride back to the truck (we park in a lot closer to the top of the mountain). It was interesting getting him back to the truck for the ride home, but we made it. I may just hit it again later this week, I'm just not ready to call it quits yet. Conditions suck, but it's a long wait until next ski season! |
