Help - pre Christmas US skiing??

Hi All,

We are from Australia, heading to New York to meet up with American based family for Christmas - we need to be in NY by the 20/21st of dec - we originally planned to ski post new year but work commitments have changed and we are arriving 13 th of dec - still keen to ski though ( we will be very sad if we don't) but desperately need some advice on resort choice for pre Christmas skiing - we are open to anywhere!!!
