Ski with four years old child.

This winter my son will be four years old and I would try to take him to learn ski (downhill).
Can you advice me a nice and not too expensive resort (maybe east-coast), Where my son will try to learn ski?
Dose anyone know a deal or a group that have young kids and are willing to go on ski, this winter.

Thanks.

YO12- I'm sorry that I can nnot recommend a good resort on the east coast as I live out west. I do know that most resorts give lessons or have programs for very young skiers, you will just have to do some checking around to find the one that is right for you.

I do applaud you for the decision to take your son skiing! You will have a blast with him.

My son is 4 right now as well. Although he has skiied for a couple of years now, I am really looking forward to this season because of his increased cognative capacity.

We just got his season ski lease (it doesn't really make sense to buy skis for them at this age because they outgrow them so fast) so we are set up and ready to go at the first sign of snow!!!

Here is my son Zach trying out his new skis on the living room carpet:

Looks like he can't wait to get out on the snow! When are you expecting the first snow?

If we have a normal year we will be skiing by Thanksgiving (Third week in November). Best case scenario is probably beginning of Nov, worst case scenario we don't get to ski until the end of Dec. Then we ski through March and sometimes as late as April.
