Hi I'm considering doing 2 or 3 months in Japan next season on my own - would you recommend it for that amount of time? Do you know the best place to stay for that amount of time? Was looking at Kutchan as is a bit cheaper for accommodation. Would be grateful for any info. Cheers.

Sorry KezaG for the delay in getting back to you.... been traveling and now back in Wanaka,NZ setting up for the upcoming season, man there's heaps of snow here already.
Japan's a great place to do a season... curtainly the less advertise places are cheaper, Kutchan, Furano, tomamu, Kiroro, sapporo kokusai and many more cool places. Nagano is another great place.... Hapo, Nozawa, shiga kogen, wicked place for a season. depending on your financies 3 months is perfect. I'd look for a local local place to base, were you have the opportunity to visit several mountains... Hope this helps, I my see ya there next year ![]() |
