Utah Skiing During Sundance FF

My family is looking at going to Utah skiing over MLK weekend in Jan 2013, but we know that is also the start of the Sundance Film Festival in Park City. Does anyone have recommendations on resorts outside of Park City that are: (1) Not over-priced/over-crowded at this time due to the Sundance FF (2) Good for children (5 and 2 seasons skiing each)? We've never been to Utah before, so any advice would be greatly appreciated!
