Where to ski in California in Nov?

Hello,

Is there anywhere to Ski in California around the 12th Novemeber? When does the season usually start?

rarely does ski season begin so early--costs the resorts a lot to open and Thanksgiving is typically the start date. If there has been a substantial early snowfall, maybe a week earlier. A tiny hill on I-80, Boreal, likes to be the first resort to open for the season. But it is a 500 foot hill, and when it opens early, it is usually through snow-making on a single run.
