Well, me and my son skied on Saturday. It was great fun, he got a lesson and I got to hang back and watch him improve under the direction of someone who knows how to teach. We are going again tomorrow, and I will be on my own as far as instructing my son. Wish me luck!

Well, another great day on the slopes yesterday. My son is now skiing independantly, I follow along behind him and make sure he keeps his speed down by holloring "snowplow!!!" ;-)
__________________He is only 3 years old, so of course he still has a long way to go, but he is doing great and I couldn't be more proud of him. As for me, I have yet to go up without my son, so I have not had a chance to ski any challenging slopes, but my day is coming. I am thinking that I need to take the day off on Thursday and get some solo skiing done. As far as conditions, it is pretty typical early season skiing. The mountain could use more snow, because there are still quite a few closed lifts and runs and there are still a few bushes sticking up here and there, but it sure beats sitting at home thinking about it! |
