Something different: my pictures

I was sitting here thinking about some deer that I saw on my latest trip up the mountain and I decided to share some pictures from over the last few years.

I enjoy wildlife, and it seems like winter time is a great time to see animals. Here is a picture with rocky mountain elk in the background and some mule deer in the foreground:



This bald eagle was pretty neat to look at. In this shot he looks pretty serious!



Sometimes though, the wildlife gets a little too close for comfort. The following pictures were taken at a home (not mine thank goodness!) in Boise near the foothills and the animal in question is a mountain lion:





I hope that I didn't get too far off topic here as i know this is a skiing website, but I thought I would do something besides brag about how well my son is skiing

The cougar is on the back deck, not inside the house.

Yes they are very dangerous animals, but only when they are hungry

They are really neat pics, glad to hear the cougar was not to hungery, it looks like it could demolish that door without to much trouble !
