Automatic relese bindings

looking into new skis
i have a great pair now except if i decide to do freestyle or somthing where i need the skis to come off if i take a spill. what are these bindings called?
i know for telemark skis there is a relese system..
are freestyle bindings the only kind that do this?

So far as I know, yes. AT setups do have the ability to switch between a free heel or locking in, but it is a manual adjustment and does not automatically switch over in case of a fall. Lookin like knee dippin tree ferry setup for what you are looking for, sorry.
LOL I love saying that btw.
