K2 Apache Recon vs Salomon X-Scream 9, which one better for intermediate skier?
Hi guys,
I'm deciding buying between these two used skis, can you guys help me decide which one would be best for me, given my style of riding? : I'm an intermediate skier on blue runs usuaully, but do not like/handle moguls well. I cannot yet handle blacks unless the snow is in good condition. i stay on the run and not powder in the backcountry. i generally do not like faster speeds, and i would prefer a smoother/stable moderate speed ride with control. I much prefer ski's that are more forgiving and easier to turn. i like to do small jumps and tricks time to time and my previous ski's really "vibrated" my legs when I land, which of these 2 would be better to dampen the landings? Also, i would prefer a light ski compared to a heavier one. i noticed that the k2 apache recon that i'm looking at has a plate between the ski and bindings where the X-screams do not. is this a big factor..? Right now i'm leaning more towards the k2 apache recon. both are priced around $90-$110. The K2 Apache recon comes with tyrolia bindings (i think) The Salomon X-Scream 9 comes with Salomon S810 Bindings any response is greatly appreciated, thanks alot for your opinion! |
