Salomon 1080

Hi all,

I just baught a pair of 2005 Salomon 1080s for next season. I found them on ebay, brand new with bindings for $160 and I couldnt resist. I can't find reviews on the 2005 model, but I read that the 2004 versoin of the ski had a problem with the edges comming loose do to poor construction. My question is, how do the 2005 1080s differ fron the 2004 version? are they different at all? it seems to me that after the 2004 model had so many problems, Salomon would fix the ski to be better next season.
