School project- ski boot design
Hey all,
I am working on a project that could make skiing equipment more user friendly. More specifically, I am trying to make the boots more adaptable so that we can actually walk in them easily and manage stairs with ease. So my question is... What do you feel is the most problematic aspect of the boot and what would you change if you could? Thanks |

Sorry.... Ski boots are meant to Ski in...

i agree with Conn. Skiing-boots are made for skiing. Not walking. If you like to walk more than skiing with the boots i suggest you stop skiing and sit in a cafee with your normal shoes on. However, itīs not an very dumb idea.. I can see what you are trying to accomplish. But, then you have to search for old skiers. they usually have problems walking with ski-bots. Or danish people that have no clue on how to stand on skiis... they should all just walk

It is an interesting idea. Especially for those that ski in non-lift accessable areas.
They are a pain to walk in around the resort (I've had to trek for 15 mins in them at some resorts in Europe). An easy switch that made them easy to walk in would be great.
