Ski Boat suggestions

Hello Everyone,

My name is Jeremy. I am new to talkski but not new to downhill skiing. I live in Western, Maryland at about 2700 feet of elevation. I have been skiing since age 5 and currently ski on a pair of Atomic LT 12, 170" and Rossignol Bandit Boots.

My question today is for my friend. She is about 5' 3" and is having a problem finding comfortable boots. She has roughly a size 7 foot though the top of her foot is high. She has somewhat of a knot at the top of her foot and most of the boots she wears put pressure on that area causing it go numb. She commented that boots seem to be either too loose or too tight and she can't get a fit that allows her to comfortably ski freely.

I was wondering if anyone else has a similar shaped foot and if they have found a boot that fits well and prevents this problem? Is there an insert or product that could help, perhaps that could be placed in any boot?

Thanks in advance for any information...
