The ski lift you dread getting on

What is the ski lift that you just hate getting on?

Personally, I don't mind chair lifts, they can get a bit annoying if they have to go over a mountain peak and a blizzard sets in. Even worse are the T-Bar lifts, they can be tiring at times especially long ones.

My favourite ski lift is obviously the cable car, nicely sheltered to keep out the snow and wind...

What ski lift do you like / hate the most?

Ski lifts are fun! The view from up there is amazing! Its so calming sitting in one of those.

If you're scared of em...think of it this way...what would you rather? Walk up all the way or catch a 5 minute ski lift?

It's not that im scared of them, there are just some such as the T-Bar that get tiring after a while.

I'm with Michael for the T-Bar. It can get tiring pretty quickly, especially if it's a steep slope you're going back up. I also just started snowboarding, and let me tell you the T-Bar lift is almost impossible to master the first few days...

Hehe i remember when i was learning to use the T hook with a snowboard. I think i spent most off the time that day trying to get to the top. A couple off times i almost did it and was thinking yes, im getting there.. 2-3 sec later i would fall off and i was so mad that i just hang on to the T hook untill i got up.. My friends where all pointing and laughing at me.. Not that fun then but i laugh at it now.

I had some bumps with the T-hook aswell in the beginning...
Now I just have fun riding them, its cool to hang after them with your hands and do nosepress/talepress etc

The skilifts where I usually ride ( Hafjell ) isent that cool really. Maybe its beacouse Ive done them so many times...
I enjoyed the lifts in Hemsedal thoo, they where new. Had a lovely view on the top there I remember..

I love ski lifts Ironic really since I'm afraid of heights. I try not to look down but straight in front of me. Plus, holding on to the person next to me usually helps.

I was scared to go on one when I was younger, haha. I'd get on one now but I'd still be pretty nervous up so high in the air, and if you fall you're dead.

Gotta hate the chair-lifts that end in an abnormally steep slope, getting off one of those with a snowboard is pretty horrible.

Also the T-bars, when I was starting out snowboarding they were the things nightmares were made of (and still are...)

Heh I like T Bars. I dont prefer any ski lift. A ski lift is a ski lift. It takes me where I want to go..

I fell off a ski lift when I was younger though, luckily I had no broken bones..

The cable car is so much fun, except for when there are like 100 people all cramed into one. lol

I like the high speed quad lifts. The chairs derail and slow way down for get on and get off, but when the chair reattaches it takes off like a souped up Camero!

The best ski lift I was ever on was a 6man chairlift. This lift had a pull down bubble for bad weather and big leather padded seats! Whats more is once you sat down on the padding it turned on the heated seats!!! I could have sat on it all day long!

Great for snowboarding considering you spend alot of time on your ass!

I've seen ones like that before but never with the heated seats! Sounds pretty fancy, what resort was this at?
