Warmest Long Underwear?
I'm headed to Beaver Creek/Bachelor Gulch in December and I need your help with recommendations on the warmest, smoothest long underwear ever.
I only ski in December when I go so I get pretty cold so I want to invest in something really good this year. I need something that isn't bulky though! Please help...would love to hear your opinion of brand. |

I have been researching this and they tell me that polypropelene is better than polyester for moisture wicking. Helly Hanson make a couple. First one, Helly Hanson Dry is polyproplene, Second one, Helly Hanson Warm is basic polypropelene with a layer of merino wool over top. Apparantly it is very warm.

On really cold days I just wear a pair of sweat pants from Walmart. I'm talking about the guy's versions that cost like $8, with elastic at the ankles. I would sometimes sweat on days that were below 20*

Brrr...sweatpants? You must be native to the cold weather there! I never get used to it.
