I've always liked solomon but just bought Rossinnol's and am hoping they work out. Heard some great things about them.

I skied on my friends lines for a day and had a good time too actually. They had a great feel in powder.

I am also a big Salomon fan, but I usually rental ski's and I'm quite fond of Atomic, haven't let me down yet!

Probably Rossignols or Atomics, but I currently ski on Dynastar skis.

??????

I really don't have any favorite ski brand. I have owned skis from most major ski manufacturers--just depended on where I was in my skiing journey--I was the first kid on the block to have Rossi Stratos way back in the late 60's. Also skied on Heads (Standards were my first--then went on to the 360's.)
Then it was Pre's, Fischer's, Kastle, Dynastars and now Volkl.
I did lots of racing--club races and US Masters, so there was a period of time I would not look at any ski unless it was a racing ski.
There are so many varieties of skis on the market that it can be mind boggling to choose, that is unless you demo some that are suited to your ability and preferences. For example, if you like to ski groomed runs at speed doing long or medium radius turns, you should demo those skis that are good at that. If you like to ski off piste--well look at a ski that excels thru the crud and ungroomed. And there are some skis that don't necessarily excel at any single thing, but they will handle a variety of conditions ok.
And of course, you may just by chance run into a pair of new skis still in the wrapper selling for 80% off the list price--and that may be what u wind up with. Like when the demo/rental manager at my local ski/snowboard resort offered me a pair of Volkl P-50's for $150.00 several years ago, my brain said--"you'll demo them AFTER you buy them"!

Then it was Pre's, Fischer's, Kastle, Dynastars and now Volkl.

I echo that line-up (ahh...those Fischer's), particularly for the short-rad turns; though in past years Rossi, Head & Atomic have been my consecutive go-to for GS. I've still got those PRE 1200s...

A couple of days ago I went to a my local ski shop's liquidation sale & picked up a pair of Dynastar Speed 64's ('04?/'05?) still factory wrapped. Great carvers! I anticipate stepping out of my Volkl AC3s & into these for a slalom run (if I can still find some bindings to match the carve plate, maybe Look...?).

I guess this is to say my favorite brand's the most recent one on my boots!
