What should I get?
Hey, I went skiing my first time this past winter and had a great time. I want to go back again this winter and am considering buying my own boots and just renting skis and poles. I was there for 4 days and my second day I was on blues and by the 4th was skiing blues very comfortably. What do you think I should buy, I don't want anything that will inhibit me too much because I picked it up so easily my first time. Oh and I'm 20 y.o. 6'4" 255lbs.

Hi,
__________________Your Boots are probably the most important piece of kit. They need to fit right, be comfortable, all day. all the info from the skis goes back & forth to yer noggan via boots & whats contained within them Your FEET ! and vice-versa A good ski shop will be able to fit those boots to your feet (molded inners, take the shape of your feet). If you want to save some dosh ($$$) ask for last years/ end-of-season model, The boots are going to fit well just the same. Main thing don't just grab the first pair you see, try a few first. Hope that helps a little Cheers The Ice-Cutter |

Ok guys, will be going to Utah in March. Any recommendations, or should I just go to a ski shop when I get there?
