Motion Seconded, I can witness how I used to hate it but after getting to know and taking risk made me slave of Ski and I can go for it anytime when possible.

I'm a skier by default ( a serious back injury means I can't afford to fall on my ass) but I would LOVE to have a go! I was a keen skateboarder in my teens, I know that doesn't automatically mean you'll be any good at it but I will never know. ;-(

It's inspirational I must say, when you got the injury? was it because of ski or during skiing? Can you snowboard again?

Surfing is much more hard as you are dependent on the waves and not solely on you own two feet! whereas in skiing its your feet that you rely on!

I agree Aladam88. Skiing is hard and challenging that's why I like it!

Chances are I will never snowboard as the slightest knock to that area is instant agony. I can't sit down properly, even chairlifts are killer. Rather than give up entirely I ski, we just choose areas with pomas/t-bars rather than chairs where possible. ![]() |

What do you guys do when you are sore after snowboarding? Because being sore is what sucks, not snowboarding in general
