Any Floridians?
Hi from Ft Lauderdale. Went to the big Peter Glenn ski show last week and now I'm ready for some snow.
It's a drag living in this hot weather all of the time. Skiing and snow is such a luxury for me! What kills me is when I fly to CO or UT is getting used to the elevation from sea level. It takes me one whole day to get used to it before I can ski. I'm so thirsty, dry and headachey. It's so humid here that we chap stick is unheard of around here. Two more months to go! |

Hey FLGIRL, Welcome!
__________________You'll find plenty of reasons to catch that flight to the winter states. Flying tip that helps adjust to drier climates: drink a couple of bottles of water during the flight and another once you land, it seems to help us anyway. ![]() |

Where are you skiing this year? I'm going to Beaver Creek. How do you get used to the altitude change from sea level here? We have quite an adjustment!
