Helloooo

My name is Tim, I'm a new guy, let me give you a little background to my ski history.
I grew up in suburban Detroit and started skiing (if that's what you could call the runaway ball of fear coming down the slopes)at the little ski areas around here. In 76/77 my sister moved to Aspen, in the winter of 77 I went to visit for the first time, I felt as though I had entered a different dimension. I moved there in the 79/80 ski season. I started working in ski shops as a rental rat, but soon learned how to tune skis. I spent 14 seasons there, becoming a ski tech of some local renown. I came back to Michigan to visit one spring and went on a blind date, I ended up marrying said blind date. Yes, I moved from Aspen to Detroit. In the ensuing years I have been back to Aspen to ski (my sister still lives there), and have skied around Michigan. In the last three years I have had two hip replacements (by age 51), the first thing I asked my surgeon was, will I be able to ski? Last winter I decided it was time to see if I could still turn 'em, I couldn't believe I was actually a bit tentative standing atop the dimunitive Alpine Valley ski resort. After a few turns, it was like I never stopped, you couldn't wipe the smile off my face. I love skiing and everything about skiing.
My name is Tim, and I am a ski addict!
