I would like to say hello!

Hi everyone, my name is Rich, i'm 43, i'm old, thin, but in great shape! (I think) LOL. I've raced just about everything with sparkplugs and tires, and just recently learned how to ski last year! Prior for some odd reason, I was always scared of being on skis. However I took a day lesson up at Killington, VT, and I can't explain how much fun I had after getting over the initial fear !!! I struggled with the initial concept of properly using my hips to carve and manipulate my speeds. Then after severall hours It finally started coming together. The second day was incredible. I was carrying excellent, and well regulated speeds down all the beginner trails. I just purchased my own equipment this year. I bought some clean, used Rossi 160cm skis, poles, and a pair of Koflach RC 837 boots all for $110. The beginner equipment should serve me perfect for now !
