Skier in Ottawa
Looks like a great forum!
My name is Elsbeth and I make my living as a strength and conditioning specialist, but in the winter life's all about skiing! I have been a ski instructor since 2000, although took the last couple years off skiing due to a hip injury. I'm soooo looking forward to the snow this winter! My RC4s are itching to get out too. I pretty much love all types of skiing in all types of conditions on all types of hills. But given the choice, I'd be skiing out west every day splitting my time between the bumps and the steeps. Looking forward to chatting with everyone here. Elsbeth |

Great to know that you are getting back on the slopes Elsbeth! Hope that the hip injury wasn’t too serious and has healed well. Do take it easy and get in your stretches before undertaking anything strenuous. The cold may cause muscles and joints to seize if not properly warmed up.
Where have you gone skiing at and at what level do you ski? I’m always constantly looking to learn more tips to help others and I look forward to hearing more from everyone here too! |
