Frank & Petra opening a hotel in the Frenche Alps

Hello people

Finaly after a verry long search whe (a belgium couple) are the new owners of a hotel in the French Alps.
Hotel La Foret de Maronne ( http://www.laforetdemaronne.com )is a nice and cosy family hotel in La Garde en Oisans, spread at 1450 metres altitude in the direct vicinity of Alpe d'Huez (Isère) A hotel for cyclers bikers hikers or just for people who want to take a few days off.
The winter
The ski area La Grande Rousses, with its centre Alpe d'Huez, with its maximum altitude of 3300 metres and has a total length well over 220 km. Whe are 80 meter away from the ski piste or ski lift and this connects you with excellent nursery slopes, good red runs, long black trails and extremely serious off-piste opportunities The black trail Sarenne, with its total length of 16 km. (2230 downfalll), is even one of the longest in Europe. The descent through the notorious black Tunnel is a challange that should only been taken by the best. It's a nerve wracking experience and not for the beginner or even intermediate. The terrain park on the Signal piste has a tunnel and a fairly dramatic half-pipe, along with a boarder cross course. The Signal blue run is now floodlit three times a week throughout the winter for night-skiing/boarding. The area has a considerable number of natural drop-offs and the entire mountain is well suited to free riding snowboarders.
The summer
Alpe d' Huez also named "Ile au Soleil". This island in the sun is thanks to the bio-klimat and influence of the medditerian see ok for 300 days of sun a year In the summer this part of the Frenche Alpes is ideal for hollidays all sorts. Inn ower hotel you find quality time at the heated swimmingpool. Mountainbikers hikers or people who like to walk in the nature will find al of there needs in this area. With your racebikeyou can ride the famous Alpe d'Huez one of the famous mountains of the Tour de France. You also find there the Glandon and the Galibier. For more adventure there is rafting, climbing or parasaling. For people who like walking there is the famous GR 54 who starts at Bourg d'Oisans and after 4 km of walking and climbing you pass Hotel La Foret de Maronne.

For more information or season price you can e-mail at laforetdemaronne@gmail.com.
For christmas or new year whe have special discount prices

Whe hope to welcome you at ower hotel.
Greatings Petra & Frank
