Seeking accomm for family of 4 from late Jan to April 2011 preferably France

We are a professional couple with 2 children (1yr old & 4yrs old) taking some time out to ski from late Jan to April 2011. We are looking for accomodation that is in or close to a ski area that has enough advanced runs to keep us happy and a ski school for our oldest child and a creche for the youngest. We would prefer somewhere in France but will consider anywhere in Europe and have a reasonable budget. We would be prepared to drive a short distance from the accomodation to the slopes.
Thanks for any advice on how to find somewhere. We are really looking for a place that is not usually rented by the week as we don't want to pay the overheads for cleaners etc. We are great tenants and can pay part/all costs in advance.

Hello Snow family,
I booked my rental on Winter-sports.com. They have loads in France.
It's direct from owner so you don't get to pay for ridiculous extras and I reckon it's much easier to negociate price for long term rental.
