Deer Valley or Vail early April Spring Skiing?

My husband and I are planning a ski trip/gettaway for the first week of April and are trying to decide between Deer Valley and Vail. Want relaxed vacation, good conditions and hopefully sun! Any thoughts on helping us make our decision?

Near Deer Valley is a resort called The Canyons. It's where I go (I live in Park City) and I love it. However I'm sure Deer Valley would be great to. Heard it's got great groomers and such for intermediate coasting skiers. The Canyons is more big-mountain (powder, cliffs, steep stuff kinda thing). I would not suggest Park City Mountain Resort out of the three, but it's not bad at all either.
