There is a private shuttle service available between Vail and Breckenridge but it's fairly expensive for the short trip (I think around $35). There are public buses in the Summit County area (Breckenridge, Keystone, A-Basin and Copper). You can probably find a ride over to Vail for free with some locals as well if your lucky.
__________________I'd suggest staying in one area until you are ready to move on and then going to the next. You will get a discount on longer lift tickets as well. Since you are planning way ahead, you might be able to find some discounts on lift tickets by buying them this fall. Google "Colorado Four Pack" which is a discount to buy 4 days skiing where you can use them at different resorts. Accommodation might be the hardest part to organize but you are planning far enough in advance that hopefully you can find something. Dillon and Breckenridge will probably have the least expensive budget accommodations. |
