Hey Thanks Wbsr,

I am going to Whilster, for the first time in at the end of Jan (2011). And I am just trying to get my head around the size of this joint - it looks pretty daunting for an Aussie, (our resorts must be tiny in comparison). I have trouble comprehending mile high Mtns & a 30' snowbase. So I would be most gratefull for any helpfull advice you can offer about the resort etc, i.e. getting around the village, where to start (skiing wise, consider myself intermeadite to advanced skier). Do they have guides who can show you round? Or should I join a ski school? I have been thinking of bringing my own skis but wonder wether to get a new set there. I believe they are supposed to be heaps cheaper than here in Oz, is that true?
