I have snowboarded all over oregon and there are 3 primo spots.....

1. Timberline Lodge on Mt.hood has a great area for snow boarders..... they really have the snowboarder in mind at this resort!

2. Multipor ski bowl .... this place rocks.... 50 minutes from my house! They have the biggest Night Ski area in the whole USA.... most lighted runs 36+ this is also on Mt.hood

3. The absolute best place is Mt. Bachelor ..... I love this place its in Bend, Oregon
I cant say enough about this place....WOW! expensive though

Your so lucky to have skiing to close to you, the nearest place to me is a couple of hundered miles away, unless I consider one of those dry slopes, ouch!

Mt. Bachelor does look nice. you would think they would have such good skiing in Oregon.

Tell me about it. I live in Hong Kong - it is in a subtropical climate. 2 seasons, and winter barely qualifies.

Sounds great, and it's good you live near one.

Wow Hong Kong would be terrible! Japan would be the best place for you to go, or China? Does it snow in China?

I reckon it would be pretty nice to ski in the Himalayas.

Same here, but it is a bit more expensive than just visiting Eurpoe.

Do you go there on a regular basis or is it just the odd weekend?

Skiing/Boarding is about a couple thousand miles away from where I live. The closest thing to a mountain we have here in Florida is a place called Mt Trashmore.. where the big garbage dump is. But the place sounds nice, glad you had a good time.
