Hi I'am a swedish skiing fanatic and i have been thinking alot about taking a skiing season in canada.

I have heard that Wristler is great and have some of the best snow in the world but is there somwere else to go thats maybe more for ppl my age (19)?

A place to stay
Looking for a place too stay on the other side of the globe is harder than i thought. I have been looking on the internet alot for places to stay a shorter period of time (2-3 months) and its very hard to find so if any1 wanna help with a link or something like that would be great.

If you have any other usefull tips plz post them aswell .

Hope to cya all in the slopes!

With the Winter Olympics being held at Whistler and area in 2010, an opportunity to work in the region would be IMO an adventure worth experiencing.

If that doesn't appear to be availabe check out Banff/Lake Louise. Resorts of the Canadian Rockies already have job postings on their website for the upcoming season. Sunshine Village is also posting.

RCR (Resorts) depending on the type of work you apply for does provide accommodation in the village.

Finally, the Town of Banff. It's very transient and plenty of work can be found. Again, many of the hotels do provide accommodation for their employees.

Best of luck in your search.

Well I definitely recommend Whistler. I live here and its a great resort. However accommodation is getting harder and harder to find - especially if you don't take a lease for the whole season.
I would also recommend Revelstoke, its a new resort with great terrain, and no crowds. Not sure about finding a place to stay though.

P.S., if you want to try the american west, you can probably find something in colorado or Tahoe.
