Where to take kids skiing in West (USA)?
I am looking for a resort out west to take my kids (8 & 12). They are good skiers here in Ohio and have been to New York a couple of times.
Thx Guy |

Big Sky all the way! After it merged with Moonlight Basin, it became the largest resort in the U.S. It has a great mix of gentle greens, groomed blues, challenging blacks, and some of the most extreme skiing in the country! There is no way to go wrong here.

Resort Suggestions
We went to Steamboat and Snowmass. Both had great snowboard schools. Lots of kids. We are going to Steamboat in January during Family Snow Fest. All sorts of activities planned for kids (including concerts).

Oh ya Big Sky all the way! It is my favorite ski place. Its located in Montana about 1 hour away from Bozeman. The terrain there is so diverse and great it also can handle a lot of people, I have been going for 20 years now and I have never stood in a chairlift line.

I have to agree, I was at Big Sky 3 years ago with my family, and mountain is amazing - tons of different terrain and the snow conditions were great - plus little to no lift lines. My sister is a beginner skier and I'm a intermediate to advanced and we both had a blast.
