Where's getting heavy snow at the moment?

How is the snow at the moment, do you know of any places experiencing heavy snowfall?

Tom,

http://www.snow.com/ That site seems handy for snow in the US.

Also another site http://www.snow-forecast.com/index.php seems to cover a lot of places

Hope it helps,
Michael

I've heard of freezing temperatures in NY and places in Canada, sometimes as low as -25 and lots of snow.

Suprisingly it has snowed here a few times but no major snowfalls

I was in the Italian Alps just after New Year. We left on around the 7th Jan and the snow was disappearing fast then. I'm not sure the people the week after us would have got much skiing in.

Yes, I think it really depends on where you are; surprisingly I got excellent snow when I was away in Austria this year. I seem to find that the snow is excellent there during mid-term (Feb).

Yes, I heard that in the Alps there was some fresh snow some weeks later, after we had returned. Sounds like you got lucky.
